Tackling the Issue
The Connectrix summer program is a 1-week residential summer program dedicated to preparing high school sophomores for applying to college. Our curriculum is centered around the college application process, and is focused on developing both leadership and personal skills.
ALUMNI PROGRAM
Making a Difference
After the residential summer program, students maintain connected to their advisors. As part of the program, alumni of Connectrix (students who have participated in the summer program) are invited back to the Rice University campus to reunite with their mentors and to receive support throughout their high school career.
EDUCATION & OUTREACH
Doing What’s Needed
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
